What do you call the type of television tat is not provided by CABLE?

I mean to refer to the channels that you can access as long as you have a television set.

And while at this, could you distinguish that type of television from cable television.

Analog.

It is called "broadcast" TV.

"Cable" refers to a genre of program distribution where you pay to get it, which includes satellite and other pay TV delivery systems.

By watching it, I couldn't tell much, except "Cable" is more targeted to a niche, an is a little "loose" on content, in that they get away with some language and situations you'd not see on broadcast television.

My answer is in this day and age at the present time it is called illegal cable and or boot-legged cable. With or without the black box which is a possible up to 10 years imprisonment.Or and a $10,000's fine, honestly I do not know and that is off the top of my head.

there is still "over the air" tv broadcast that is free. there also is

satellite tv

older models got UHF and VHF channels with an Antenna...!!

An old TV wouldn't have the Cable outlet on it...!!
