You need a graphics card that can output RCA (the red/white/yellow 3 wire set) and then just hook up the RCA cable from the back of your computer to the videa input on the TV. Most game systems these days connect to the TV using a similar wire.
Most computer do not have a graphics card that can do this standard.
About the only way I know how to do this is have a video card that outputs an NTSC signal that can be hooked up to a TV. Of course you'll need a tv that has inputs for this. Also the audio will have to come from your sound card and be hooked up to your tv as well.
my video card has an 's-video out' and my tv has the input and i watch my dvd's on my tv (tv is set up as second moniter and extended desktop) but the sound is still on my pc's 5.1 surround sound card.
