Does Television help Dictated the norm or whats normal to a society? could it also possibly used to help control and manipulate the human heart and mind and the idea of Independence and self though and promotes collective regurgitated controlled thought.. possibly with the release of dopamine and works the motor control, cognition, emotions, and learning part of gain called the basal ganglia?

That would be a big DUH question. The media is a major factor in developing a population opinions. It might also be interesting to study what demographic watches more TV and see if that has any specific ramification for that group.
