How do I connect a US made playstation 2 to a UK television?

I don't think my RF modulator will work since US televisions and UK televisions run on different frequency. My UK television is older and only has a standard UK coaxial connection.

i don't think you can because the US PS2 is on NTSF and the TV is on PAL so i don't think it is possible

You would need to buy an NTSC/PAL standards converter, (as far as I know Maplins sell them), start at £50-60 for a basic one.

You would also need an adapter to convert the US equivalent of a SCART to fit plug to fit the TV's here.

You might want to look at Radio Shack website in Canada (www.radioshack.com): they use the same TV system as the US, so might have something available.

In the end, it's not an easy solution. I'm assuming you've sorted out the problem of the mains power supply and the difference in mains frequency which affects anything motorised?
