Whats the cable that connects a computer to a television?

And I don't mean an S-video cable.

I want to know the name of the cable that connects a computer to a television and the television has the same quality picture that the monitor has and it's not bad quality but good.

If you only have the standard VGA output from your computer what you need is called a "scan converter". It converts VGA to video and s-video. Here is a good cheap one for less than $100:

if your computer has a HDMI port then use HDMI cable (anykind) or if it doesnt then you should get either a DVI/hdmi adaptor or vga...depending on the resolutions ur tv will go up to or what ur computers highest/lowest resolution and if they match up to the tvs resolutions for pcs....sometimes when you hook up a computer you wont get a signal and sometimes that means your resolution on your computer is set to high for the tv. Check your sources when selecting cables
