How do I write an analysis for a movie or television sitcom?

I'm in an online class and the assignment is:

"Select a movie or a television sitcom. Write an analysis on this movie or television sitcom."

What are some things I should focus on when writing this?

You should first establish your opinion of the show. For example:

I like/dislike (name of show) because (point 1), (point 2), and (point 3).

you can focus on the plot, characters, and how visually appealing the show is, and different factors like that. you can analyze how witty, or humorous it is, etc.
