Where or How can i fix my tube television?

I have a Sony 32'' tube television and all I hear is sound but no picture, its just a black screen. Does this mean the television is toasted and there is no way for it to be fixed? I hope this is not the end of my tv's life :(

It's NOT as bad as many will tell you....

The NORMAL FAILURE for this TV set is either the Horizontal output has bad solder OR the HV Regulator circuit has failed.

BOTH are REPAIRABLE at a reasonable cost....

It is toasted. It would be better to get a new television than rather getting it fixed. That way you won't need a digital converter box when it comes around in Feb. 2009. All new HDTV comes with a built in HD tuner. All you need with the new television is a indoor or outdoor antenna.
