Is television a medium to which the govt controls what we do?

Nothing good ever came out of television other then keeping the mass populus under control. The govt like when most of america is watching american idol or lost. T.V. limits our minds and we never think critically while watching, just keep us dumb. What do you think?

Yes. Turn it off and relearn how to think for yourselves. And stop buying b.s. lifestyle products and political veiws from it.

I believe TV is just another way of control, control over the way we think, control over how we live our lives. (some may not understand the rest of this)

TV lets "????" show us how we "should" be living our lives(which is bad). TV also puts us into groups to separate us(soccer teams,different cultures and beliefs and so on) this separation is also a way of controlling us.

TV is a purely physical object and should be treated accordingly, "????" is using it to detract us from what we, as humans are meant to be doing on this planet at this time.( i realize how much you may have heard this but TV is bad) Who actually controls what goes on TV besides what we think we are watching? TV changes the way we think for the worse and can cause us to develop a warped psychology toward life.

perhaps to some degree....but you ain't seen nothin' yet, as they say! Better do some research on ideas some of your candidates have already been vocal about(that the press isn't putting out by the way)..if you like it now, you'll LOVE it if the wrong guy gets put in!
