Is there going to be a ninth season of the television programme charmed to be released soon?

I already have the television programme charmed on dvd, seasons one to eight. I have heard rumours that there is going to be a ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelth seasons out of it but i don't knw whether to believe the rumours or not? I love this programme so a definate answer would be great thanks.

I dont think there will be a ninth series, it wont be the same without aaron spelling creating it anyways. i also loved this programme and was devestated when i heard the eigth series was gonna be the last.

I cannot understand how there will not be a 9th season. because if you go to utube and put in Charmed it shows you the trailer etc for the 9th season

besides it would be quite difficult to carry on from where the 8th series finished as the sisters are all old women and have children
