What television shows would you consider to feature liberal issues, and what shows conservative issues?

I have an essay questions that says:

Write an essay in which you discuss the representation of liberal and conservative issues in television shows.

I am wondering everyone's opinion so I can get a good slate of examples to argue with.

I would think that the shows would be the newscasts, and programming on Fox (Conservative) and CNN (Liberal.
