when they first came out they sold for around 200 dollars but remember you could buy a new car (best car) for less than 1500 dollars!!!

What would the cost of a television in the late 1950's be the equivalent of today?
My grandmother and her daughter rented a television in the 1950's,they couldn't afford to buy one.
