Perspective. On camera you see a limited view, and assume there must be more. Only in person do you realize that what you believe is more is actually not there.

Why do television studios look GIGANTIC on TV but in real life they are actually really tiny?
I have visited many television studios, and it always baffles me. How does this work and what is the art called?
